A huge congratulations are in order for the following students, who competed in Shakespeare Poetry Slam sponsored by Chicago Shakespeare Theater this past Saturday. Alyse Childress, Kai Lloyd, Erick Tyson, Michaela Welch, Jada Fulcher, Fatima Labaran, Josiah Gholar, and Quiana Phillips led Rich Central to an impressive performance. They competed against 50 schools from the Chicagoland area, and were chosen as one of only nine teams to advance to the finals on Monday, December 11th, where they competed on the stage at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and placed 3rd overall.
