Weekend Eats with Joshua Harrison

Each week I will have a recipe for you to try over the weekend!  First up is what I call “Sweet & Spicy.”

If you are a fan of salmon, you are in for a treat.  If you also love meals a little sweet along with a touch of spice, then this combo will be a new favorite.

Sweet & Spicy Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients:

● 4 cuts of fillet Salmon

● ½ tsp of Cayenne Pepper

● ½ tsp of Garlic Powder

● ½ tsp of Onion Powder

● 3 cups of Teriyaki Sauce

● ¼ cup of Brown Sugar

● ¼ cup of Water

● A pinch of salt

Directions:

1. Put salmon in a glass oven safe dish

2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

3. Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl and dry rub the salmon.

4. Pour 3 cups of teriyaki sauce onto the salmon

5. Bake salmon for 15-20 mins

6. Broil salmon on high

7. Remove salmon from oven and allow to rest

8. Mix the brown sugar and water together

9. After 5 mins pour the brown sugar mixture over the salmon

10. Prepare rice and add broccoli as instructed on packaging
