Signs of Autumn

As the birds begin to head south

The sweet warm air begins to turn brisk.

The once glistening crisp green leaves fade into crimson reds,

Bright yellows, and bold oranges.

Sweet strawberries and bananas get replaced by crisp juicy apples

And round ripe pumpkins.

The air starts to fill with the scent of burning leaves as neighbors get

Rid of the colorful leaves that seem to overtake

Their lawns.

As I continue to look around I begin to realize

That change looks really great!
