Rich Township High School to Host First Turkey Trot

With a new high school, comes new traditions.

On Saturday, November 20th, Rich Township High School will host its inaugural Turkey Trot.  The brainchild of Rich Township teachers, Ms. Clark, Mr. Pfeiffer, Mr. Stanko and Mr. Niendorf, the event will take at the STEM campus and will feature a scenic route around the grounds here in Olympia Fields.

Registration is open up until the time of the event and will include a 5k race, a fun run, kids dash and 2 mile walk.  There will be awards for overall winner along with age group awards.  Refreshments will be served post-race to celebrate the event.

The race officially starts at 9:00 AM and the entry cost is $15 for adults, $5 for Rich Township students, and $10 for all others.  Registration includes an event shirt.
