Starting September 16th, Raptors celebrated their annual Homecoming Week. Spirit Week began on Monday with Pajama Day, followed by Twin Day on Tuesday the 17th. Wednesday the 18th was Anything BUT a Backpack Day, Which proved to be entertaining with many students rolling around luggage, strollers and a couple of shopping carts. Thursday the 19th was Dress As Your Grade Day where many freshmen walked around with their binkies (i.e. pacifiers) and a whole group of seniors dressed as senior citizens with curly grey wigs and house dresses a la the amazing “Madea” character made famous by Tyler Perry movies. Friday was School Spirit and Pep Rally Day and each class was given a color to represent in.
